This is not at all the truth and should not think like that about IAS officer. Being an IAS officer is a reputed job which one secures after so much of hardwork and studies. As it is a Grade A type job, the salary is provided accordingly. The basic pay scale ranges from 56100 to 250000 with time. So the salary ranges from INR 56100 to INR 132000 per month in the starting only. It increases with years and your experience. So, there's nothing like corruption or bribe in this case.
