IIIT Bhopal is a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution. It was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Indian government in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh government and private companies partnerships. The institute is located on the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology campus area and aims to construct a permanent IIIT, Bhopal campus of its own on the 50 acres land which has been allotted to the institute by the Bhopal government.
