IIIT Bhopal Admission Process

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal admits engineering students and offers a B.Tech degree. IIIT Bhopal admission to the undergraduate programme is only available through entrance tests. IIIT Bhopal UG eligibility criteria demand a passing certificate of 12th class with good grades. Candidates clearing the JEE Mains with a required cutoff qualify for the IIIT Bhopal UG Selection Process. The seat allocation of IIIT Bhopal courses is managed by JOSAA, a regulating authority by the Ministry of HRD.

Candidates are required to fill out the online application form for IIIT Bhopal, upload the documents, and then are advised to report at the IIIT Bhopal admission centre.

The whole mode of filling application form is online and the steps are given below:

IIIT Bhopal Login

After getting admission to the IIIT Bhopal B.Tech course, candidates can register at the IIIT Bhopal student portal. After that candidates must visit the following link: mis.iiitbhopal.ac.in/Index.html#!/Login. For IIIT Bhopal login, candidates must enter their student ID and password.

IIIT Bhopal B.Tech Course Admissions 2024

Candidates are required to take the JEE (Main) exam and clear the specified cutoff to sit for the IIIT Bhopal UG Selection Process and choose the desired course in the engineering stream.

IIIT Bhopal B.Tech Admission Process

Candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main.
Next, a cutoff list will be released by the authorities.
Students who meet the IIIT Bhopal JEE Main cutoff need to register for the counselling process.
Further, students have to participate in the counselling process where seats will be allotted to the students based on their performance in the entrance exam and counselling.
Final admission will be confirmed after document verification and IIIT Bhopal fee payment.

IIIT Bhopal Counselling

Candidates after qualifying for the JEE Main 2024 exam should apply for counselling. IIIT Bhopal counselling is conducted by JoSAA/ CSAB. During the IIIT Bhopal JEE Main counselling 2024, candidates must list their preference for desired IIITs.

IIIT Bhopal Admissions: Documents Required

10th & 12th Mark sheet /Certificate.
Category certificate (as per JOSAA 2023 format).
Proof of age/date of birth (10th standard certificate/birth certificate).
Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving certificate.
Passport-size photographs.
JEE Score card & Admit card (original).
GAP certificate (if any).
ID card (Aadhar card/PAN card/Driving license).

Candidates are required to fill out certain forms available in the admission section (Anti-Ragging affidavits and others) and submit them to the college.

Academics

The faculty here are very well educated and student-friendly; their teaching style is very good and attractive and they help many students like me in academics. The course curriculum is very good and there will be minute changes in the course curriculum every year done by our faculty and staff members. The semester exams are not that difficult but we need good preparation to score well in the exams and the pass percentage is 4 CGPA.

The college is a very nice environment.

I have studied B tech here due to my keen interest in it. The teaching quality is very nice. Curriculum hasn't been updated, but probably it will be done very soon. Development is going on now also...

The curriculum is up to date. Quality of lectures is good as well. Some professors are interactive and lets students collaborate in certain projects or research work too. Otherwise, self study is always encouraged for better grasp over the subjects.

Considering your focus on good placements and a decent college life, DTU, NSUT, and IIIT Delhi stand out as better choices compared to the newer IIITs (Bhopal, Nagpur, Kota).

If you get CSE or ECE in DTU or NSUT : These should be your top choices due to their strong placement records, vibrant campus life, and established reputation.
IIIT Delhi : Is also an excellent choice, especially if you prefer a research-oriented environment with good placements.

In summary, prioritize DTU and NSUT for their overall advantages in placements and campus life, followed by IIIT Delhi for its strong academic environment and competitive placement stats.

Hello,

It's all depend on your interest.

I want to start by saying that you choose branch above college. Consequently, whether you are pursuing CSE or IT at any IIIT. Try it out.

It is difficult to pick between these two universities given that you are asking for mechanical at IIIT Jabalpur and IT at IIIT Bhopal. However, since both of these colleges are among the best IIITs and both offer excellent placements, I would advise you to attend IT at IIIT Bhopal.

Which would be better to take nit Bhopal mechanical or Iiit Bhopal cse ?

Hello,

MACT, the previous name of NIT Bhopal, was founded in 1960 and changed to NIT Bhopal in 2002. Currently, it has well-established faculties, laboratories, classrooms, lodging, etc. When compared to IIIT Bhopal, the teaching and research quality is likewise quite good. It now occupies the 55th spot among Indian universities.

Since IIIT Bhopal was founded in 2017 and is now housed on the RGPV campus, there is no private campus, no visiting faculty, no labs, and no research activity. Manit Bhopal, the institute's mentor, is also a man.

Therefore, the choice of institution is entirely up to you, friend.
