CSE is a core branch. On the other hand, IT is a part of CSE. For example, if CSE is considered as tree, IT is one of its branch.

Well CSE is a branch and students pursue there graduation in this feild. Its fullform is computer science engineering.

On the other hand IT is not a branch in which graduation is done but some colleges offer bachelor degree in IT. Also students take jobs in IT sector after there graduation.
