Yes Adhaar card is mandatory to appear for the JEE Mains 2019 exam. All the details should be correct and should be as per Adhaar card.

So, u have to upgrade the details of Aadhar to apply for JEE Mains without any difficulty.

As per the official notification CBSE has decided to use Aadhaar for the candidates of JEE (Main) 2019, and hereby notifies the following:

• Candidates, who are in possession of Aadhaar, shall enter Aadhaar number, name, date of birth & gender in online application for JEE(Main) 2019 for the purpose of his/her identity and authentication thereof.
• Candidates not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, are hereby required to make application for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar as per section 3 of Aadhaar Act. Such applicant may visit any Aadhaar enrolment centre to get enrolled for Aadhaar.
• The candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar and have not received Aadhaar should enter 14 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID (Including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling online application form for JEE(Main) 2019.

The first thing is that Aadhar card is not compulsory for JEE main exam and I don't think that there is any can I update Aadhar I think you are talking about updating or correction in Aadhar card which is necessary if you are having some is used in the present data available in your Aadhar Card that is in your name address or date of birth have a where is the time passes you may need to update your fingerprints and photo in the Aadhar card but it is not compulsory for JEE MAIN.
