Is it compulsory to have SBI bank account to claim GATE stipend?

Hi kumar

No you need to have account in SBI in order to receive stipend of GATE ,you only need a bank account which is registered on your name .

No, it's not compulsory to have bank account in SBI.

A bank account is needed of that bank which is in your bank premises.

First of all congratulations on securing scholarship in GATE exam.
As per you question, no, it is not compulsory to have SBI bank account to claim GATE stipend.
Rather, you will require a bank account in the bank which will be in your college premises.
You can also transfer account number if you have account number in same bank at campus.
