Is it difficult to get admission in UPES Dehradun through entrance exam?

To get into UPES dehradun, you have three options: UPSEAT(80% seats), Board marks(Need to be exceptional), Jee main marks( ALL INDIA SEATS). If you are trying to get admissions through UPSEAT, then you have to get at least 600 rank in the exam to be sure to have an admission in this college. The cutoffs have greatly varied according to the fields. The most sought after branch is the petroleum engineering branch which is difficult to get into(600 rank) and then there is mechanical in which you can get admission even at rank 4000. So the difficulty in getting admission solely depends on the branch you want to get in at this college.
