It is true that SC category Students will get privilege of having reservation facility but, it really does not mean that it is as easy as your thinking. You have to compete in own cartegory and the competition will be very intense. If you're willing to take admission into the most reputed Institutions of India, then don't think that it is going to be easy task for you. I think you have understood my point.

I will suggest you if you are hard worker and positive approach so the caste doesn't matter in qualification.

It won't be correct to say that being a SC candidate, it becomes easier to qualify in this exam but yes, you will get the reservation benefits. As per the last year cutoffs, you will have to score minimum 5% marks in each subject and at least 17.5% aggregate marks in your JEE(Advanced) paper to get admission in IITs.

But yes, in order to be eligible to sit for JEE(Advanced), you will firstly have to qualify JEE(Mains). Obtaining 90th percentile and above usually ensures your selection.

So keep studying and practising you will definitely get good results.
