It is not so easy or not so hard to qualify jee without coaching. It depends on only your knowledge. You can also qualify jee without coaching if your knowledge is high and you are prepared for exam. Be confident for jee.

Nothing is easy until you work hard for it. But it is possible to crack JEE without coaching as many people including myself has done it.

Key to cracking any entrance exam is practising as many questions as you can. First go through NCERT thoroughly and clear your concepts on each topics. You can also go through some reference books like HC Verma, RC Mukherjee, Hall and Knight etc.

Do not forget to practise previous 10 year JEE Papers to get a better understanding of the Exam

Yes , it is easy if you are very talented and you are very hard working , then nothing is possible . But if you don't study and don't attend coachings , then it all depends on your luck.  But if you are very hard working, then you can easily crack JEE Mains while studying in your home . Sometimes you might struck with few questions but that's not the problem .If you have the passion , then you will surely crack it. And I have been witnessed to such events.
