For APLAW CET is a state level law entrance examination where only those candidates can apply who belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or whose parents have studied in Andhra Pradesh or any one parent has a domicile of AP.The standard of questions for 5 year LLB course is the Intermediate level  and for 3 year LLB course is a Graduate/ Degree level. The important subject wise topic for the exam are-

1.General Knowledge: History of India, Geographical knowledge of India, Indian Culture and Heritage, Indian Polity, Basics of Indian Economy

2.Current Affairs: Indian and International Current affairs about Politics, Judiciary System, Economy, Sports, Entertainment, Awards, and Appointments.

3.Mental Ability:  general reasoning topics such as Blood relations, Number series, Coding-Decoding, Syllogisms, Direction Sense, Sitting Arrangements, Analogies, Alphabet Series, Data Interpretation, Sequencing, Visual Puzzles

4.Aptitude for Study of Law : student are tested on their ability to comprehend various facts, figures and legal principles which will be given in the question.
