Yes it is a very good brach of Engineering as it deals with the Science of Chemicals and all. So, if you have interest in that you can do that. Also, it has a very wide opportunities as jobs you can go into the research fields and various government Jobs are also available as many good Navratna companies like ONGC, GAIL etc. Recruits chemical engineers and also not many colleges have chemical engineering so less no. Of candidates apply for that. 

You can also go abroad by doing research or you can apply for job in foreign countries.
