The basic eligibility to take admission in BSc Honours course is 50% in Class XII in Science stream from a recognized board. The students must have core subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary level. The age limit to take admission in BSc Hons courses is minimum or above 18 years.
The top BSc entrance exams are CUET, NPAT, SUAT, etc. CUET is the most accepted entrance exam for BSc admission 2022. Other exams like NPAT, CUCET, and SUAT are conducted at the university level for BSc admission. For both BSc Honours and BSc General courses, entrance exam may or may not be conducted depending on the university/ college policy. In case of no entrance exam, admission in the courses is done on the basis of merit determined through marks scored in 10+2 final examinations.
Attending entrance test is not necessary for getting admission.
Thank you
