Hello Aspirant,

The GATE result card mentions the subjects you have appeared for.

GATE Life Sciences paper possesses 15 marks devoted to General Aptitude and 85 marks devoted to the question from the subject.

GATE Life Sciences paper is distributed into three sections

  1. General Aptitude
  2. XL- P (Chemistry)
  3. XL- Q to U (Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology, Food Technology).

General Aptitude and XL- P (Chemistry) categories are compulsory for all the aspirants.

In XL- Q to U, the aspirant is required to select any two topics according to their priority.

I hope it helps.

Thank you.
