Is it possible to BAMS part time (Any college offer this)? Or is there any other part time degree by which one can practice ayurveda?

A part-time BAMS degree is not commonly available, as it requires full-time study. However, some institutions offer alternative flexible Ayurveda courses, such as diplomas and online programs in Ayurvedic health care and Panchakarma. If you want to practice Ayurveda without a full-time BAMS degree, these short-term certifications can be an option.

Hello there,

No, BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is a full-time course, and no college offers it in a part-time mode because it is a professional medical degree requiring practical training, internships, and clinical practice .

If you want to practice Ayurveda without a BAMS degree , you can consider:

  1. Diploma/Certificate Courses in Ayurveda (Offered by various institutes, but they do not allow independent medical practice).

  2. Ayurvedic Health & Wellness Coaching (Non-medical but related to Ayurveda).

  3. PG Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy (For careers in Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing).

To legally practice as an Ayurvedic doctor , BAMS is mandatory .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
