See when you enter into any engineering course, maths is a compulsory subject. First year syallbus is common for all the branches.

so when you will be in first year of B. Tech/ B.E you will study maths 1 and maths 2 in semester 1 and semester 2 respectively.

Even if you have not studied maths in 11 and 12 std you will definitly study. Yes you might face some problem initallly but later you will get used to it.

And maths is the most important subject for engineers, specially topics such as matrix, differential equations, integration, probability.
