Yes, it is possible to have the same career either by pursuing B.E. in Agriculture or by pursuing B.Sc. in agriculture. The government posts demand graduation in agriculture, where the basic subjects remain the same. The promotion aspects may differ later on as BE is more application-oriented and hence may prefered more. Both can join as Quality Manager, or Government organizations like NABARD, FCI, etc.
