The following postgraduate programmes in Cafeteria system are offered by the EFL University-

M.A. English 

M.A. Linguistics 

M.A. in the Teaching of English as a Second Language 

M.A. English Literature 

M.A. in Literary and Cultural Studies
Duration of the programme is four semesters.

Eligibility Criteria for admission is-

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and must have scored minimum 55 percent marks (for general/OBC category candidates) and 50 percent marks (for SC/ST category candidates)

Admission Process

Admission to the course is done on the basis of entrance test conducted by the University. The test is conducted in online mode at various centres across India. 

Duration of the entrance test is two hours.

Questions in the entrance test will be asked from four sections and each section will test the candidate’s skills and abilities in a particular area. The four sections are

Section A: Literature 

Section B: Reading Comprehension 

Section C: Organizational Ability and Writing Skills 

Section D: Verbal and Analytical Ability 

Each section will be of 25 marks. 

You will be eligible for admission if you have completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage.
