Yes , it appears to be quite difficult to get admission in IIM-A as because out of around 200,000 students who appear for CAT, around 400 make it to IIMA. This means 1 in every 500 candidates makes it to IIMA. However ,apart from decent academics, IIMA also requires great leadership skills. The admission in IIM-A  also requires the need to be good at academics, you need to have a good profile, hobbies, extra-curricular, etc. Yes obviously it is hard, but if you are passionate about it, you will crack it. So definitely hoping for the very best.
