Home state students always get advantage in getting admissions to colleges in every state in India.
So it's definitely not very easy but not impossible at the same time.

There are lots of good private engineering colleges in Maharashtra. All you need to is score well!
Also 15 percent seats are there for All India Quota which is not a very small.
