The ITV school of media and management Okhla Delhi is not approved by the University Grant Commission nor it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Also, the college is not eligible to get approval from AICTE as it offers courses like-:

1. Diploma in Broadcast Journalism
2. Certificate in Camera & lighting
3. Certificate in Video Editing
4. Mass comm and Journalism

(ITVSMM) is an initiative by ITV Network. ITVSMM was established in the year 2012.
