JEE main is conducted for 2 papers. Paper 1 for BE/BTECH nad paper 2 for B.arch or B.plan.

For paper -1 exam mode is computer based test mode. And the subjects are physics, chemistry and mathematics. Total number of questions 75(each subject contains 25 questions).Type of Questions

20 Objective questions having 4 options each with only 1 correct option 5 Numerical questions with numerical value as an answer.

for paper-2 B.arch  aptitude, mathematics, drawing.

B.planning  mathematics, aptitude, planning.

JEE Main have objective type questions.
There are two papers for jee main.
One can opt for either of them or both.

Paper 1 (BTech):- There will total 75 questions.
There are 3 subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Each has 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions.
Total marks will be 300.

Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Plan):- There are three sections in both B.Arch and B.Plan papers.

B.Arch:
Mathematics
Aptitude test
Drawing test

B.Plan:
Mathematics
Aptitude test
Planning test

Number of questions are
B.Arch: 77 Questions

B.Plan: 100 Questions

Total marks is 400.

Yes Joint Entrance Examination is a objective type exam all question are multiple choice question and is a computer based teat exam.20 Objective questions having 4 options each with only 1 correct option and 5 Numerical questions with numerical value as an answer . National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2021 exam dates along with the schedule at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in two sessions- January and April.

Total questions : 90 ( 30 from each section)
4 marks are allotted for right answer
1 Mark.is deducted for wrong answer.
And the duration is of 3 hours
