Hi there! Hope your day is going well.

In regards to your question it actually would depend on what type of course and university you would choose. Generally in majority of the universities they have a flexible schedule and rules when it comes to accommodating students. Hence leaving apart few of universities they would allow you to be a day scholar; a term used for students who return to their residence after completing their course. You could either go for arranging your own system for accommodation or can reside in a hostel which is generally cheaper than private accomodation agencies.

So all in all there is quite the flexibility to choose, only few of the universities would make it compulsory which you could confirm once you're taking admission into that respective institution.

Hope this answer helps; wish you the very best for future endeavours
