Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, popularly known as Madikeri Medical College, is a recently established government medical college. It is approved by MCI. It has a total intake capacity of 150 students in MBBS course and has about 50+ faculty with 10-11 professors. It is still a growing institute, but as established by the government, you can expect standardized rules and procedures. 

When it comes to its hospital infrastructure, as per the publically available information, it has a bed capacity of 319, which is quite a good number along with a 24 hours blood bank and emergency facility. So, it can be deduced that it has a big campus.  

Not much can be said about its publications and alumni, given that it is recently established. All in all, given that its a government medical college, most likely the college will not disappoint you. However, I suggest try to get in touch with the students studying in Madikeri medical college (through facebook, linkedin, etc.) or search more about it, in order to familiarize yourself with the college and its teaching.
