Hey Shiv!! 

As far as CLAT is concerned , maths is moderately important . however it depends on your command on other subjects . 

If you are good at legal or english or gk or logical , then maths isn't that important for you because CLAT doesn't have a sectional cutoff . If you can score good in other subjects then getting 3 or 4 marks in maths won't bother much . but if you  are average at other subjects also then you need to score at least 8 or 10 in maths in order to meet the cut off level . Maths is just of 20 marks in CLAT but we can't entirely ignore it . you should score at least 5 marks for being on the safer side .
