If you are asking for BASLP then yes mathematics is necessary. question asked in BASLP entrance exam covers chapter of +2 1st year and 2nd year. Questions are asked from physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

eligibility criteria for BASLP:- candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board having subject combination Physics, chemistry and (biology/ mathematics/ statistics/ electronics/ psychology/computer science).
