Maths is not always compulsory for getting into a Bachelor of Commerce Honours BCom Hons course it depends on which college or university you choose Some well known universities like the University of Delhi and top private colleges do require you to have studied Maths in Class 12 either as a main subject or an optional one This is because the BCom Hons course includes subjects like statistics economics accounting and finance which need some basic maths knowledge However many other universities and state colleges do not make Maths a strict requirement They look at your marks in other commerce subjects such as Accountancy Business Studies and Economics So even if you did not have Maths in school you can still apply for BCom Hons in such colleges You might find some topics like Business Maths or Quantitative Techniques a bit tough at first but it is manageable with effort In short Maths is compulsory in some colleges but optional in others It is a good idea to check the admission rules of the specific college you want to join Even without Maths you still have plenty of chances to study BCom Hons if you meet the other eligibility criteria

Mathematics having it in your 12th standard is not a mandatory pre-requisite for admission to the B.Com (Hons.) course at Quantum University.

Maths is not compulsory for B.Com . bachelor of commerce is about Accountancy. Accounts need basic mathematics like Addition, Substraction, Multiplication, Division, Averages, Percentages. Accounts is not a complex subject.

For B.Com (//B.Com) (Hons) programme Geeta University would be best option. Geeta University  has a very good reputation in all over Delhi NCR. They are known for good placements and for good quality education.

GU Panipat has a remarkable placement record as the institute invited leading companies to form different sectors. The faculty and placement team help students build industry-specific skills for better placement opportunities. Not only that but the university provides 100% assistance related to placements. The whole curriculum is structured in a way that enables students to develop both soft skills as well as hard skills.

University also provides Internship opportunities for us, From organization where you do internship, an Industry guide is allocated to the intern student and a faculty member from the institution. Monitoring is done by Faculty member on the regularly basis with the industry guide to check the progress and performance of the student intern.

Hi reader ,

it depend on the university or college you are looking to get admission into. In DU maths is required in 10+2 standard to get admission in B.com(hons) while in IP university of Delhi maths is not compulsory to pursue B.com(hons).

So it depend on the policy of universities or colleges, some make it compulsory to have maths in your 12 standard to pursue B.com(hons) and some not.

i hope this answer helps

thank you
