Maths in 10+2 is important for students who are going for engineering, and B.SC degree's like Mathamatics, Physics and Chemistry.
For Commerce students Statistics is Important, Also for those who are taking professional Courses like B.Com with C.A or ACCA or with BBA.

But from my research, there is no BBA course in Gargi College,DU.
They have
B.Com
B.Com(Hons)
B.A Economics (Hons)
B.A Business Economics(Hons)
ForB.Com (Hons) and B.A Economics Candidate has to study Mathamatics in 10+2.
