For data scientist mathematics is not necessary to be part of your education like whole mathematics. But in your subject you need to face with mathematics. Like you have to learn some basic mathematics and statistical mathematics. Which is much needed in data analyst or scientist. Because it's main work also included numerical so you have to know that very well.
