Maulana Azad College affiliated, Kolkata is a government institution affiliated to the University of calcutta. The college was formerly known as Islamia College and was later renamed as Central Calcutta College. In 1960, the college was again renamed as Maulana Azad College in memory of the great national leader Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad.
