see to get a career in computer science, or software profile it is not mandatory that you have to be  a computer science related specialized degree. well you can do some courses on frontend development and can find a job as a software developer. MCA is always a good option however check the placement record of the college before joining. also you can do some courses from NIELIT which are really good and you get to learn more.

YOU CAN OPT FOR MCA BUT YOU HAVE TO STUDY A LOT AS IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO COPE UP WITH COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE AS MOST OF THE STUDENT ARE FROM BCA BACKGROUND AND YOU ARE FROM CIVIL SO CHOOSE WISELY.
