Master in Computer Applications is not considered a waste as you said. It definitely has its own value. The term MCA is coined and applicable only in India. When you go to the States, they refer it as Masters! So the term changes not it's value. But there are certain Eligibility Criteria for pursuing Masters in the US. Kindly check into that before applying!
