Yes, Mobile phones are allowed in Colleges be it Bannari Amman College erode or any other college as  college professors understand that these days students often need mobile phones for project work ,notes, and other study related things very useful etc so mobile phones are allowed in college and there is no problem in that.

But yes just because mobile phones are allowed in college doesn't mean that you will be allowed to use mobile during classes when your professor will be teaching you, so you need to make sure that you do not to use your cell phone or mobile phone when your teacher is teaching in classroom.
