MCA itself is sufficient for Government job. You dont need to complete MTech for PSU. But yes there are some areas in Government sector where you need M.Tech. But let me clarify you one fact that computer engineers and MCA are considered equivalent and for computer science you dont have wide opening as of now in Government sector. You can qualify GATE after your MCA and can try in some of good PSU's. But it totally depends upon the opening for computer science stream. You are eligible for IBPS specialist officer after your MCA. But as you know its "tech era" future will have broader scope for Computer Engineers too in government sector. All The Best!!!
