The NCERT Class 6 syllabus for 2025–26 has been revised in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the new National Curriculum Framework. The major changes include the introduction of new textbooks, a reduced content load, and a shift towards activity-based and experiential learning. Social Science has been integrated into a single subject called “Exploring Society: India and Beyond”, while other subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Science have been updated with more visuals, projects, and competency-based approaches.
