Hello,
Yes, NCERT books are good for the JEE exam, especially for building a strong conceptual foundation and for chemistry, but they are not sufficient on their own for high scores. NCERTs are essential for understanding the basic concepts of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and many questions are directly based on their content, particularly in inorganic chemistry.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello Mathumita,
Although it is not the only sufficient resource you need to crack the JEE examination, but in my opinion, it is the first most necessary book you need, to cover the JEE syllabus.
Before using any reference book, cover all the topics from NCERT books, solve all its questions and highlight all the formulas as they form the base of JEE exams .
For inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry , the chemistry NCERT book is very important. You can find questions in JEE Advanced as well straight from statements and diagrams in NCERT books.
