Hello sanjeev
There are two ways to switch over to research leading to Ph.D. for meritorious MBBS graduates.

The main option is to get admission to a three-year medical postgraduate programme (MD or MS). Thereafter one can go for medical research leading to Ph.D.

Whereas there are other options if you do not want to become a clinical research associate from neet .

While the credentials needed to become a clinical research associate vary by place of employment and with the demands of specific positions, you'll likely need at least a bachelor's degree in a biomedical-related field like medical technology or life science. Typical courses in a relevant 4-year, bachelor's degree program include biology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, evaluation methods, clinical information systems, research in biomedicine, and anatomy. Clinical research associates should also have a thorough understanding of good clinical practice standards as laid out by the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH)

Goodluck I hope this helps you
