If u prefer core branches such as electrical, mech, civil or biotech , placement record not great. Not much core companies come.

During our batch 08-12, biggest company for electrical was L&T which took in 4-5 students for their Electrical Division.Other minor core company chooses 1-2 people. Total batch strength will be 60-70.

However many IT mnc such as Infy, wipro give chance for core students to appear for placements. If u want to end up in IT field ultimately you can go for it. They select in bulk 150-200 students from all branches.

However faculty are good and lab is top class. If u want to go for higher studies later think no further.
