For open seats you need to score 595+ in NEET.. If you are a ST/SC/SCA candidate from Tamilnadu you need to score 350+ and if you are a sponsored candidate it depends up on the competition within the sponsoring body.. The more you score more are the chances that you will get into CMC vellore

Through neet entrance exam about 70,000 mbbs and 27000 bds seats are filled all over the medical colleges in India. 

You must  have qualified the neet entrance exam to get admission even in private colleges. And for getting government college you should have 500+ marks in neet out of 720.
