JEE MAIN

For jee main  there's no 75% or any minimum %  barrier in 12th to be eligible for jee main.

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

--------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification.

--------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for   JEE mains 2022   you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in   2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

--------) There is no age limit to be eligible

-   -------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category.

For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off   .

But in 2022, yes this 75-65 % criteria for       NITs, IIITs, CFTIs will be there ( if removed due to conditions like pandemic then nta will notify about it)

JEE ADVANCED

jee advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-

--------) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off due to pandemic but in 2022 it will be there . ( if removed due to conditions like pandemic then nta will notify about it)

-------) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2021 or 2020 .

--------) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be  born on or after October 1, 1991.

--------) you must qualify JEE main to be eligible for jee advanced
