According to some news papers there will be a new body (NTS-National Testing Service) which in the process of formation for now which will be handed over the entire responsibility of conducting all common entrance exams like JEE, NEET, NET, CTET etc.

This process is still pending and requires approval, but according to the ongoing activities seems like CBSE will shift over the responsibility to NTS from next year.

NTS will then become the largest test conducting body all over India.

As per the statement made the Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on November 10, 2017 the Union Cabinet has approved the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA) that it will be the only authority to conduct the national level entrance exams. But it will take some time for the body to start functioning.

NEET 2018 will conducted by CBSE itself but NTA might be the conducting body from 2019 for NEET or other National level entrance exams.
