The number of exams or entrance you appear for depends  on the number of colleges you apply for. For example you can appear for national level MBA exams such as CAT, XAT etc exams and take admission om the basis of the scores secured in these exams. However, there are some colleges that conduct specific to exams. But most of the University accept natinal level exam scores.
