Pharm. D. is a doctorate level course, the basic eligibilty for the course is that the candidate must have passed 10 + 2 from a recognized board and a qualified diploma in Pharmacy from any Pharm. D. College recognized by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). After completion of this course, students gain skills in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, selection and therapeutic usage of drugs, monitoring of patients and by this the candidate can apply in the private and government hospitals, Health Centers, Drug Control Administration, Medical Dispensing Stores and many more with and average salary of INR 3 to 10 Lacs.
