since the placements are in the hands of placements director of the college if he could get the good companies for the college that would be great, while in general in the present scenrio there are good oppourtunites for CS the salary packages from 3LPA to 8LPA plus but its all depends on the college .

i would like to suggest you before joining the college interact with college and the students enquire regards to placements and then join since all the college will not have best placements right.

try joining in the top colleges or top private universites they get good companies
