Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS) Adilabad is a public institution. It is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. It was established by the chief minister of Andhra pradesh YSR Reddy in 2008. It is in the news for renewal recognition inspection by medical council of India. Salaries are being paid but there is issue of huge difference in the salary of those already working and those the college is recruiting. The current working staff is hoping for the government and college administration to tackle this as soon as possible.
