Hello,
You need to carry a pen, admit card, transparent water bottle and a hand sanitizer in the examination hall. Other than this nothing is allowed inside the hall. You should go through the guidelines provided in their official website. So if you are appearing for B.Arch. or etc. you can carry a transparent scale inside the hall.

Hello,

For JEE Main Paper 1 you need to carry only a pen to the examination hall, admit card, transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer. Diabetic candidates can carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) but  they are not allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/ sandwich into the examination hall. Candidates appearing for JEE Main Paper 2A and 2B that is for B.Arch and B.Planning respectively need to carry their own geometry box, crayons, pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener etc. As per JEE Main exam day guidelines, candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, slide rules, log tables, printed or written material, bits of papers, pager, or any other device.

So if you are appearing for B.Arch and/or B.Planning paper you can carry a normal transparent scale to the examination hall.

Pen/Pencil and blank paper of rough work will be provided in the examination hall. So you are not allowed to take a scale or ruler. Infact there is no need of it except you are appearing for JEE MAINS paper-II. For paper-II its allowed for the drawing paper.

I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!

HEllo,

You do not need to carry a scale to the examination hall.

According to JEE Main exam day guidelines, candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, slide rules , log tables, printed or written material, bits of papers, pager, or any other device. If any candidate is in possession of any of the above items, his/her candidature will be treated as unfair means and his/her current examination will be cancelled & he/she will also be debarred for future examination(s) & the equipment will be seized.
