You haven't mentioned about the college or university through which you want your fees to get reimbursed. Some colleges ask for providing an account in specific bank that is the official bank partner of the college, while in some college there is no such rule. But if your college in different state than the account which your mother have then you will definitely need to have a bank account in a nationalised bank. I would suggest you to open a bank account of yours in state bank of india.
