Hello Sree,

SAT is not necessary for MBBS abroad. However what you do need for an MBBS abroad are:

  • 50% in PCB (unreserved category) or 40% (reserved category) in the last year of schooling.
  • Qualification of NEET is necessary. Ranking is not than essential though.
  • MCI does not approve candidates who have completed 12th standard from open school to study MBBS abroad.

Hope you found the answer satisfactory.

Hiii

No, SAT is not necessary for studying MBBS abroad but as per new rules and regulations laid down by the MCC and as per the orders of the Supreme Court it is now necessary to qualify NEET UG if you wish to study MBBS outside India.
SAT is conducted to evaluate the candidates verbal, comprehensive and mathematical skills.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!!
