Hii aspirant..

No calculator or scientific calculators are allowed in CAT exam for the candidates. Although the on screen calculator is been provided to each and every student participating in the exam but sometimes it becomes quite difficult to operate the calculator. Thus I will recommend you to work on your calculation speed. If there is very long calculation then only rely on the on screen calculator. Improve culation speed and practice well.

Hope it helps.

Best of luck for your future.

Dear,

No, you cannot bring your own calculator. However, you will be provided with the onscreen virtual calculator in the exam itself.Solve previous year papers of CAT to acquaint yourself with the various types of questions that can appear in the exam. The calculator is a basic one with provisions to carry out addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Apart from these basic features, there is a provision to find out square root and reciprocal. So practice some tests to get equiped with it.

Hope this helps!

You will not be allowed to take calculator in exam hall. But you will get an onscreencalculator in CATThe objective to provide on-screen calculator is to help the candidates carry out basic computations. Hence you can use the on-screen calculator for doing your calculations.

Hope this helps you :)
