As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above medical, so definitely its about the neet exam. The scoring system of neet exam is percetile system but you will also be given your marks.

Depending on your rank and cut off percentile, you will get admission in your preffered medical college.

Getting a seat in government medical college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc

Cut off varies evert year as per your reservation category and no. Of students applying for the same. 

Or else, you can get admission with low cut off through management quota also.
