Hi
Greetings
Yes definitely stoichiometry is very important topic in chemistry and it is often used in many important concepts so without mind the concepts of stoichiometry you cannot solve chemical reaction problems which are there in chemical kinetics equilibrium thermodynamics so all the problems are solved only if you are good at is trigonmetry so irrespective of the syllabus you need to be perfect in stoichiometry and also there may be direct question on stoichiometry there for you need to prepare well for a stoichiometry.
Hope this helps all the best
